{"id":55,"date":"2022-03-08T21:31:01","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T02:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fantyaosticfood.me\/?p=55"},"modified":"2022-05-28T12:25:56","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T16:25:56","slug":"chicken-with-coconut-milk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fantyaosticfood.me\/index.php\/2022\/03\/08\/chicken-with-coconut-milk\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken with Coconut Milk"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Choice of chicken cuts (legs, drums, dices, whatever you like)<\/li><li>Coconut milk (enough to cover the chicken in a pot)<\/li><li>Turmeric powder<\/li><li>Cumin powder<\/li><li>Coriander powder<\/li><li>Fresh cilantro<\/li><li>Smoked paprika powder<\/li><li>Garlic powder<\/li><li>Bamboo shoots<\/li><li>Naturally brewed soy sauce<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity aligncenter is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: if you have whole grain spices, pulverize them in a pestle and mortar until it becomes powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Combine all the dry ingredients until homogeneous, except the cilantro<\/li><li>Combine the wet ingredients until homogeneous<\/li><li>Combine the dry and wet ingredients in a bowl and taste the result to ensure that it is to your liking<ul><li>Turmeric will give you a sharp, earthy and a slight citrusy flavor <\/li><li>Cumin will give you a sharp, slight spice, and a bittersweet flavor<\/li><li>Coriander will give you a citrusy twang, and somewhat of an earthy and musky fragrance<\/li><li>Smoked paprika will give you a fruity, smokey, and bitter flavor<\/li><li>Garlic will give you a hint of sweetness and warmth <\/li><li>Soy sauce will add some salty and umami flavor<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Once you are satisfied with your mix, pour it in a pot and lower down your chicken and the bamboo shoots in it. <\/li><li>Let it cook over medium\/low for about 30 min.<\/li><li>At the 30 min mark, check for the the chicken&#8217;s internal temp.
